Singapore was once regarded as a model country for quarantine measures, but due to poor management of communal dormitories housing about 300,000 migrant workers, cases surged sharply from early April. However, with strengthened quarantine measures, the spread noticeably slowed from August, and since last month, daily cases have dropped to the 40s.
