U+tv Aideulnara Surpasses 1.5 Million Monthly Users... 3 Years After Launch
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] LG Uplus announced on the 4th that the monthly number of users of the media platform exclusively for infants and children, 'U+tv Idelnara,' surpassed 1.5 million as of the end of September. This achievement was reached just over three years after the service was launched in June 2017.
According to LG Uplus, U+tv Idelnara exceeded 750,000 users (21.2%) as of the end of July 2018, recorded 1.16 million users (28.9%) by the end of July 2019, and has been on an upward trend with an increase of about 400,000 users in just over a year.
LG Uplus evaluated that this growth is the result of continuously discovering new forms of educational content such as Book Reading TV and English Kindergarten, which parents can trust and find beneficial for their children.
The mobile application 'U+Idelnara,' launched in June this year, also surpassed 100,000 downloads within three months. This app allows users to access the content and services of U+tv Idelnara on mobile devices, including synchronized watch lists and the ability to continue watching videos viewed on IPTV on mobile.
