[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] On the 2nd, the People Power Party stated that it will not participate in the Gaecheonjeol drive-thru rally, in relation to some conservative groups planning to hold a rally on Gaecheonjeol following the conditional approval of vehicle rallies.
Choi Hyungdoo, the party's floor spokesperson, said in a written briefing during a virtual party meeting that "there is no left or right in the prevention of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19)," and emphasized, "The party leadership has firmly stated that nothing can take precedence over the safety and health of the people."
