On the 1st (local time), Biden tweeted, "On behalf of Jill (his wife, Jill Biden) and our entire family, I want to wish the Korean American community a happy Chuseok." He added, "I hope the holiday celebration is filled with laughter, joy, abundance, and delicious food," and concluded with a Korean greeting, "Haengbokan Hangawi Bonaeseyo!" (Happy Chuseok!).
