43 Venture and Startup Companies Apply for Preliminary Unicorn Special Guarantee Project
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] On the 1st, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced that 43 ventures and startups submitted applications for the Preliminary Unicorn Special Guarantee Project, and among them, 15 will be selected as the second round of support recipients on December 2.
The Preliminary Unicorn Special Guarantee Project is a government initiative aimed at realizing the four major venture powerhouse countries. Selected companies receive special guarantee support of up to 10 billion KRW per company.

Previously, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups selected 15 companies as the first round of support recipients in July.
