[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Members of the People Power Party held 'one-person protests' related to the Yeonpyeong Island shelling incident over the past weekend and on the 29th, and continued their condemnation through one-person protests across the country on the 30th, the start of the Chuseok holiday.
People Power Party spokesperson Bae Jun-young stated, "At this very moment, People Power Party members and party supporters nationwide are condemning North Korea's atrocities, criticizing the government and ruling party's irresponsibility, and urging the revelation of the substantive truth." He added, "During the holiday period, we plan to discuss the direction and response measures for the upcoming regular National Assembly sessions, including the National Assembly audit, based on opinions collected nationwide through an online party meeting."
