Hamyang-gun, Recruitment of Tenants for 'Happy Housing'

Applications Accepted from October 23 to 30 ... Move-in Scheduled for Late January Next Year

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam, is recruiting tenants for the Happy Housing built in 241, Gyosan-ri, Hamyang-eup. Applications will be accepted from October 23 to October 30.

The county will post the tenant recruitment announcement, including eligibility and application methods, on the Hamyang-gun website on September 29.

The Happy Housing units being recruited this time in Hamyang-gun consist of a total of 200 households: 10 for university students, 70 for youth, 80 for newlyweds and single-parent families, 20 for the elderly, and 20 for housing benefit recipients.

The application period is from October 23 to October 30, 2020, and due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation, both mail and on-site applications will be accepted. On-site applications will be accepted if mail applications are difficult for elderly applicants.

The announcement of successful applicants will be posted on the Hamyang-gun website on December 28, and contracts will be conducted over three days from January 18 to 20, 2021. Move-in is scheduled to be completed by the end of January 2021.

Hamyang-gun Happy Housing, which began construction in November 2018 and was completed at the end of September 2020, is a rental apartment consisting of two buildings with one basement floor and 18 above-ground floors. It is equipped with 79 underground and 121 above-ground parking spaces, community facilities, a playground, and unmanned parcel lockers for residents' convenience.

A county official said, “Once the Hamyang-gun Happy Housing move-in is completed, it is expected to contribute to providing a pleasant living environment and housing stability for residents, as well as to attracting young populations such as youth and newlywed households.”
