Gyeonggi Tourism Organization Introduces Job Integrity Contract System
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization is introducing a 'Job Integrity Contract System' for all employees to enhance integrity awareness.
On the 28th, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization announced that it held a signing ceremony for the job integrity contract with President Yoo Dong-gyu and department head-level executives to contribute to fostering an organizational culture of integrity.
The job integrity contract prohibits ▲ acts of receiving, demanding, or promising bribes from job-related persons ▲ acts of receiving, demanding, or promising involvement in interests, mediation, or solicitation using position or secrets ▲ acts of receiving, demanding, or promising involvement in interests, mediation, or solicitation and then demanding bribes from job-related persons ▲ abuse of position to obstruct the exercise of rights of job-related persons ▲ disclosure of confidential information related to duties ▲ sexual harassment using position ▲ and prohibits corruption prevention, job integrity, maintenance of dignity, and the execution of the organization's business as stipulated.
If violated, in addition to internal disciplinary action, if a sentence of a fine or higher is confirmed, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization will recover the performance bonus for the current year that has been paid or is scheduled to be paid to the employee.
Also, in the case of imprisonment or higher, the full amount of the maximum performance bonus will be recovered, and in the case of a fine or higher, up to half of the maximum performance bonus will be recovered or deducted from payment.
Yoo Dong-gyu, President of the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, stated, "Taking this opportunity to introduce the job integrity contract, we will become a cleaner and more transparent public institution and a public enterprise trusted by the residents of Gyeonggi Province."

The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization is formalizing integrity contract pledges with contracted companies to strengthen work transparency by imposing contract termination, forfeiture of bid deposits, compensation for damages, and restrictions on bidding qualifications if violations are detected, and is spreading a culture of integrity by introducing integrity implementation pledges for various in-house public projects and committee members.
