Martial Arts and Specialized Trading Companies Collaborate to Host 'Export Hot Item Discovery Contest'
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] The Korea International Trade Association is recruiting participants for the 'Export Hot Item Contest linked with Specialized Trading Companies' until November 1.
Students participating in the contest will have the opportunity to discover excellent products from domestic small and medium-sized enterprises and propose exports to specialized trading companies such as Lotte Mart, GS Global, and Hyundai Home Shopping. Any university or graduate student can apply, and a special track for high school students has been newly established to allow high school students to participate as well.
Outstanding proposals will be awarded on November 13 through a final evaluation, selecting a total of 10 teams: 1 Grand Prize team (2 million KRW), 2 Excellence Award teams (1 million KRW each), 2 Merit Award teams (500,000 KRW each), and 5 Encouragement Award teams (300,000 KRW each). For excellent proposals, additional consultations between specialized trading companies and SMEs will be conducted to facilitate actual exports.
