POSCO Construction Hosts 'Challenge Corporate Citizen Ultimate Quiz Competition'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] POSCO Engineering & Construction announced on the 27th that it held the ‘Challenge! Corporate Citizen Final Boss’ quiz competition on the 25th in an ontact format to make the management philosophy of ‘Corporate Citizen Growing Together’ easier to understand and to enhance practical implementation.
The ‘Challenge! Corporate Citizen Final Boss’ quiz competition was held to strengthen the will to practice so that all POSCO E&C employees, based on mature civic consciousness, practice respect and consideration and become global model citizens leading social development, as reflected in the slogan ‘Value Built Together.’
On the 14th, about 160 people competed in the preliminary round, and the final 10 advanced to the finals, where they competed on core concepts of the corporate citizen management philosophy such as win-win growth, safety and environment, ethical management, social contribution, and a culture of trust and communication. As a result, Gong Byung-su, a manager in the Infrastructure Business Division, won the honor of ‘Corporate Citizen Final Boss’ and received the president’s commendation and a prize.
This event was conducted entirely in an ontact format for both preliminary and final rounds due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was broadcast live online through the company’s video conferencing system, allowing all employees to watch from offices, sites, and remote work locations.
