The students will board an Air Busan aircraft on the 29th and fly over domestic airspace to experience being flight attendants.
Shilla University announced on the 25th that 75 students from the Department of Aviation Service and 6 students from the Department of Aviation Operations will board an Air Busan aircraft at Gimhae International Airport and take part in a "flight without a destination," flying over domestic airspace for about 2 hours and 30 minutes before returning to the departure point.
This program was designed to provide students with the opportunity to experience various in-flight services on an actual operating aircraft, enhancing their job skills and motivation to learn, thereby offering practical help for employment in airlines.
The students will board the experiential flight and practice key flight attendant duties such as preparing for takeoff and landing, in-flight announcements, in-flight meal and beverage service, and safety tasks as if in a real situation.
Professor Kim Jae-won of Shilla University's Department of Aviation Service said, "This flight experience will be a great motivation for students aspiring to become flight attendants," adding, "The vivid hands-on experience inside the aircraft during flight will help students grow into excellent flight attendants."
