BMW Korea Launches 3 Limited Online Edition Models in September to Celebrate 25th Anniversary
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] BMW Korea announced on the 24th that it will launch three limited online editions in September to commemorate its 25th anniversary at 2:05 PM on the 25th.
The September editions include the ‘218d Gran Coupe BMW Korea 25th Anniversary M Sport Edition,’ the ‘M340i BMW Korea 25th Anniversary Daytona Violet Edition,’ and the ‘M340i xDrive Touring BMW Korea 25th Anniversary Dravit Grey Edition.’ All three models will be sold exclusively through the online sales channel, ‘BMW Shop Online.’
First, the 218d Gran Coupe BMW Korea 25th Anniversary M Sport Edition, limited to 25 units, is an online exclusive model based on the 2021 model 218d. It features the M Sport package introduced for the first time in the 2 Series, with numerous added convenience features.
The exterior features Alpine White paint and 19-inch double-spoke wheels, along with an M rear spoiler exclusive to the M235i xDrive Gran Coupe, completing a sporty rear design. It is equipped with a BMW TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder diesel engine delivering a maximum output of 150 horsepower and a peak torque of 35.69 kg·m. An 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission, which guarantees optimal efficiency and quick shifting, is standard. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 8.5 seconds, and the combined fuel efficiency is 14.3 km/l.
The price of the 218d Gran Coupe BMW Korea 25th Anniversary M Sport Edition is 48.9 million KRW.
The M340i BMW Korea 25th Anniversary Daytona Violet Edition is also limited to 25 units. The Daytona Violet color applied to this edition is a special BMW M exclusive color derived from the Daytona International Speedway in the United States. It was first introduced with the M5 in 1991 and has been offered only on select M models in Korea, making it even more special.
The exterior features Daytona Violet paint with black high-gloss front attachments, and a carbon fiber rear spoiler and rear diffuser, creating a stylish yet sporty atmosphere. Inside, a bright Oyster color is complemented by M seat belts and an adaptive M suspension, evoking the unique ambiance of a high-performance model.
Additionally, the M340i xDrive Touring BMW Korea 25th Anniversary Edition will be released with a total of 25 units by December this year, with 9 units available in the Dravit Grey color. Dravit Grey, a BMW Individual color, is being introduced for the first time in Korea, increasing its collectible value.
The exterior features Dravit Grey paint with a black high-gloss rear spoiler, while the interior includes an Oyster color scheme with a leather dashboard, M seat belts, and adaptive M suspension, emphasizing the luxury unique to high-performance editions.

The prices are 78.6 million KRW for the M340i BMW Korea 25th Anniversary Daytona Violet Edition and 82 million KRW for the M340i xDrive Touring BMW Korea 25th Anniversary Dravit Grey Edition.
