The Security Advisory Council of Mokpo Police Station has held a large event every year before Chuseok to invite defectors and ease their loneliness away from their hometown. However, this year, due to the impact of COVID-19, instead of a gathering event, protection officers personally delivered gift certificates to the homes of defectors.
