Korea Rail Network Authority Supports Small Business Owners Through 'Labor-Management Cooperation'

On the 23rd, the Rail Network Authority and the Rail Network Authority Labor Union announced that they will replace and pay part of the employees' performance bonuses with Onnuri gift certificates to support small business owners who are experiencing economic difficulties due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The purpose is to promote the use of Onnuri gift certificates and to ensure that employees' use of the gift certificates can help small business owners.
Prior to this, in March, about 60 executives including the chairman and standing directors of the Rail Network Authority voluntarily returned part of their performance bonuses (5% to 30%), collecting 140 million won, which was used to support vulnerable groups.

Kim Sang-gyun, chairman of the Rail Network Authority, said, "On the occasion of Chuseok, I hope that employees actively use Onnuri gift certificates to provide practical help to local small business owners." He added, "The Rail Network Authority will continue to unite labor and management for regional coexistence."
