View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Gyeongsangnam-do held an interim report meeting on the 22nd in the small conference room of the provincial government office to establish the "Basic Plan for the Guarantee and Promotion of Human Rights in Gyeongnam," providing time for consultation and discussion with human rights commissioners.
At this interim report meeting, attended by members of the Gyeongnam Human Rights Commission, the research agency, Gyeongnam Research Institute, presented the progress including ▲environmental analysis such as local status and domestic and international trends ▲results of a human rights survey of 1,007 residents and focused interviews with vulnerable groups ▲vision and goals, and proposed tasks.
The policy tasks for promoting human rights were presented based on four major goals including building a human rights foundation and strengthening human rights policies, covering 29 tasks in 15 fields such as disability, women, labor, children and youth, labor rights, health rights, and human rights education, with 48 detailed tasks.
