Sahakyeongeum Implements Mental Health Program for Private School Staff to Overcome COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] The Private School Teachers' Pension Service (hereinafter referred to as the Private School Pension) announced on the 22nd that it will conduct a regional 'Mind Clinic' program for private school staff from next month 6th to December 4th to overcome the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
This event is a program conducted in cooperation with the Private School Pension and the National Naju Hospital. It was prepared to increase the psychological resilience of staff members who have accumulated stress due to the nationwide spread of COVID-19 and the preparation for a hybrid of remote and face-to-face classes as part of social distancing, by providing individual stress diagnosis and counseling on management methods based on the results.
The Mind Clinic will be held at the Daejeon Center (October 6?8), Seoul Center (November 4?6), Naju Headquarters (November 17), and Busan Center (December 2?4). The program includes ▲ one-on-one individual counseling with mental health professionals (mental health nurses, mental health social workers) ▲ stress diagnosis and cellular health measurement ▲ mental health education and provision of health information tailored to individual characteristics.
In accordance with the nationwide social distancing measures due to COVID-19, to strictly comply with quarantine rules, the program will be conducted at each center with one person per session per hour for 50 minutes. Participants must wear masks and have their temperature checked, and only those without abnormalities can participate in the clinic.
