Naju-si to Conduct Comprehensive Inspection of 'Water Supply Facilities' Until the 25th
[Naju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Han-hyuk] Naju City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Kang In-gyu) announced on the 21st that it will conduct a comprehensive inspection of small-scale water supply facilities, which serve as the main drinking water source for residents in areas not supplied with metropolitan waterworks, until the 25th.
The inspection targets a total of 128 locations, including 6 metropolitan waterworks reservoirs and 122 small-scale water supply facilities.
The city will focus on safety inspections of water supply facilities such as booster stations, disinfection facilities, reservoirs, well motor pumps, and pipelines, as well as water quality management and securing water quantity in preparation for large water usage.
In addition, to prevent waterborne diseases during the holiday period and to ensure uninterrupted drinking water supply, any facilities requiring repairs during the inspection will be immediately repaired or upgraded.
