Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, 'Lotte Department Store Dream Plaza' Store Entry Product Evaluation Meeting

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Korea Federation of SMEs announced on the 20th that it will open applications for participation in the 'Lotte Department Store SME Win-Win Pavilion (Dream Plaza) Tenant Selection Product Evaluation Meeting.'
Dream Plaza is a curated store for SME products that has been operating permanently since July 2014. About 10 SMEs per store sell their products at Lotte Department Store’s Main Branch, Jamsil Branch, Yeongdeungpo Branch, and Busan Main Branch.
The product categories eligible for this evaluation meeting include fashion accessories and household goods. SMEs finally selected through document screening and product evaluation by Lotte Department Store merchandisers (MDs) will receive preferential conditions such as approximately 20% sales commission rates, exemption from interior costs, labor costs, and promotional expenses.
The application period for participation is until 6 p.m. on the 25th. Detailed information on how to participate can be found on the Korea Federation of SMEs website and other channels.

Choo Moon-gap, Head of the Economic Policy Headquarters at the Korea Federation of SMEs, said, "This product evaluation meeting is a starting point for new sales channels and an opportunity to meet more consumers for SMEs and small business owners struggling due to COVID-19," adding, "The Federation will continue to support SMEs and small business owners who produce excellent products but face difficulties in developing sales channels through all available channels."
