View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Home&Shopping (CEO Kim Ok-chan) announced on the 18th that, starting from the 16th, it will hold a cooperative marketing event for Korean agricultural products at major Hanaro Marts nationwide in collaboration with NongHyup to stabilize prices during Chuseok, support agricultural products from typhoon-affected areas, and promote the consumption of domestic agricultural products. On the morning of the 17th, a sponsorship ceremony for a donation of 100 million KRW was held at the Yangjae branch of NongHyup Distribution, attended by Kim Ok-chan, CEO of Home&Shopping, and Jang Cheol-hoon, CEO of NongHyup Economic Holdings, among others.
Since 2014, the cooperative marketing event, jointly conducted with NongHyup every year to promote the consumption of agricultural products, aims to provide farmers with fair prices for their produce while offering consumers affordable purchasing opportunities. This year, the event also includes emergency support items for farmers who are in urgent need of assistance due to COVID-19 and typhoon damage.

Kim Ok-chan, CEO of Home&Shopping, stated, "Due to consecutive adverse events, we felt urgent support was necessary for local farmers, prompting this emergency aid," and added, "We will continue to fulfill our corporate social responsibility based on mutual growth with regions in need of assistance."
