DGB Financial Collaborates with Good Neighbors on Global CSR... Donates $30,000

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] DGB Financial Group and Good Neighbors announced on the 16th that they have agreed to collaborate to promote global corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects.
On the previous day, DGB Financial donated $30,000 to Good Neighbors using funds from donations made by its eight affiliates. This donation will be used for school construction and renovation projects and the provision of quarantine supplies for children in Cambodia who are struggling due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A DGB Financial official stated, “Through this collaboration, Good Neighbors, which is dispatched locally, will carry out CSR activities together, and we expect to provide more professional and efficient support that actively reflects the needs on the ground.”
In 2017, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of DGB Daegu Bank, DGB Financial launched the DGB Global Volunteer Expedition, conducting volunteer activities annually in countries such as Vietnam and Laos.
