View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Dong-Eui University (President Han Su-hwan) Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center (Director Jeong Seok-chan) signed a business agreement with Challenge and Sharing (Chairman Lee Geum-ryong) on September 12 at the PRIME Convention Multipurpose Hall in the Industry-University Cooperation Building of Dong-Eui University to foster creative AI professionals.
Through this agreement, both institutions agreed to cooperate in entrepreneurship education, expert mentoring, seminar hosting, and more to cultivate creative practical professionals who can lead AI technology and industrial innovation.
Following the signing ceremony, at the first forum of the Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center, Lee Geum-ryong, Chairman of Challenge and Sharing, gave a special lecture on the theme "Entrepreneurship that Turns Crisis into Opportunity."
Jeong Seok-chan, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center, stated, “The core of the 4th Industrial Revolution is artificial intelligence. By combining the expertise of both institutions, we will promote joint research and program development related to AI to foster creative AI professionals and expand the AI industry base, thereby leading the development of the local community.”

The Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center at Dong-Eui University was selected for the ‘Grand ICT Research Center Public Contest Project’ announced by the Ministry of Science and ICT this year, and since July 1, it has been laying the foundation for the ‘AI Future City Busan’ through AI-based intelligent innovation convergence technology development and professional workforce training based on the demand of the Busan regional industry.
