Changwon City Holds 'Citizen-Led' Tourism Brand Contest
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] Changwon City in Gyeongnam announced on the 14th that it will hold a contest for a representative Changwon tourism character and slogan created and led by citizens.
The contest will run until the 6th of next month, aiming to discover a character that can represent Changwon tourism and a tourism slogan that succinctly expresses the value and vision of Changwon tourism, which will be used for future promotion and marketing.
Any Changwon citizen can participate in this contest. The winning entries will be selected based on an online citizen preference survey and judged on symbolism, creativity, conciseness, communicability, and suitability. A total of 24 works will be selected, including 1 grand prize, 1 gold prize, 2 silver prizes, 3 bronze prizes, and 5 encouragement prizes, with a total prize money of 6.6 million KRW awarded.
