The PGA Tour announced the candidates for Player of the Year for the 2019/2020 season. On the 10th (Korean time), it was announced that "Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Webb Simpson (all from the USA), and Jon Rahm (Spain) were selected." Rookie of the Year candidates include Harry Higgs, Maverick McNealy, Scottie Scheffler (all from the USA), and Viktor Hovland (Norway). Thomas was the money leader, Simpson ranked first in scoring average, and Morikawa's strength was winning the major PGA Championship. Rahm secured two wins, including the PO second round BMW Championship. He ranks second in earnings, scoring average, and world ranking.
