On the 10th, Joo Ho-young said on CBS Radio's 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show,' "Minister Choo is unlikely to resign voluntarily," adding, "The person who can decide the minister's position is the president. The final decision must be made by the president." When asked by the host if there was any more decisive additional evidence that would prompt the president to make a decision, he replied, "There is." However, he did not specify the details.
Joo criticized, "In the past, when controversies like this arose and the Ministry of Justice and the prosecution were shaken due to family issues, the appointing authority made a quick decision. But in the cases of former Minister Cho Kuk and now, this administration seems to defend their own side to the end even when public opinion is boiling."
Kim Jong-in, the emergency committee chairman of the party, also emphasized at the emergency committee meeting that day, "The president's silence will be interpreted as complicity in the destruction of justice," and "The appointing authority, the president, must make a decision for it to be reasonable." He added, "In these times when there is not enough time to work, the minister is becoming an obstacle to overcoming the crisis," and said, "It would be the duty of a high-ranking public official for Minister Choo to decide her own position." This means Minister Choo should step down before President Moon Jae-in makes a decision.

At a supreme council meeting held at the National Assembly that morning, Ahn harshly criticized, "Last year, the people suffered because of Cho Kuk, and now they are hurt by Choo Mi-ae. The president is too harsh on the people," and asked, "How is it that those holding the highest core power in the Moon Jae-in administration all have morals worse than common street thugs?"
He said, "The president’s judgment on Minister Choo’s position will be a standard and judgment on how the president views the people, the opposition party, and how to manage state affairs in the latter half of the term," and emphasized, "If you emphasize cooperation, replace the Minister of Justice who aggravates the people’s frustration and extend a genuine hand of unity and cooperation to the people and the opposition. Everything depends on the president’s decision."
