[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Jeonnam Provincial Council announced on the 10th that the "Partial Amendment to the Jeollanam-do Wando Arboretum Management and Operation Ordinance," which was proposed by Representative Im Young-su on the 8th, has passed the review of the Health, Welfare, and Environment Committee.
With this ordinance amendment, the exemption targets for admission fees and facility usage fees at the Wando Arboretum operated by Jeonnam Province have been expanded to include spouses and one personal care assistant, as well as patients with Agent Orange-related illnesses, repatriated prisoners of war, and families of prisoners of war who returned from detention sites, allowing them to use forest welfare services free of charge.

He added, "By providing small but meaningful compensation to the merit recipients, it is expected to serve as an opportunity to enhance their pride."
