KOTRA Supports Production of Promotional Product Videos for SME and Mid-sized Company Exports
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] KOTRA is helping our small and medium-sized enterprises produce promotional product videos for export.
KOTRA announced on the 10th that it has prepared the '2020 Digital Content Production Support and Utilization Marketing Project Plan' in line with the trend of expanding online marketing, selecting 300 companies to produce promotional videos.
The target sectors include consumer goods (100 companies), information and communication (60 companies), aviation, electrical and electronic, machinery, heavy equipment (50 companies), power, shipbuilding (20 companies), content and edutech (30 companies), medical devices (30 companies), and projects and public procurement (10 companies).
KOTRA is accepting applications from companies until the 22nd. Selected companies will receive production costs of 4 million KRW and produce videos by additionally bearing at least 10%, or 400,000 KRW, of the cost themselves. Companies are free to choose the video production company and create content lasting 30 to 60 seconds.
The support is only applicable to videos aimed at promoting products to buyers and excludes corporate promotional videos. Detailed information can be found on the KOTRA website.
