One Korea University Staff Member Confirmed with COVID-19, Two Visited Buildings Closed
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] On the 8th, one staff member at Korea University tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), leading to the closure of the building where the staff member had been.
According to the Korea University College of Science Student Council, one staff member working at Asan Science Hall was confirmed positive for COVID-19 on that day. Korea University closed the Asan Science Hall and Mediheal Environmental Building, which were identified as places the confirmed case had visited after 1 PM, and conducted a full disinfection.

The College of Science Student Council issued a notice stating, "The affected buildings are scheduled to be closed for two days, but the closure period may be extended due to the presence of close contacts.
