The 32nd Architecture Exhibition by Gwangju University Architecture Major Students
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju University (President Kim Hyuk-jong) announced on the 8th that the 32nd Architecture Exhibition by students majoring in Architecture in the Department of Architecture will be held until the 11th at the lobby exhibition hall on the 1st floor of Hosimgwan Hall on campus.
This architecture exhibition showcased 14 works created by architecture major students who are about to graduate, and due to the impact of COVID-19, no opening ceremony was held.
In the architecture exhibition awards ceremony, student Jeong Pyeong-chae (5th year) won the President's Award with the theme ‘BOOK+SCAPE,’ and seven students including Kim Eun-seo (5th year, Space of Possibility) and Kim Sang-shin (5th year, Pungam Complex Cultural Center) received Excellence Awards.

Meanwhile, the Department of Architecture at Gwangju University started as the Department of Architectural Engineering in 1987 and is currently operated as a 5-year program focused on architectural design. It has been selected as a department for the Industry-University Cooperation Leading University (LINC+) project tailored to society, nurturing customized talents needed for the 4th industrial revolution through a track for urban regeneration architects utilizing 3D printing.
