Gwangju Buk-gu to Fully Implement Electronic Entry Log at Dong Administrative Welfare Centers Starting from the 9th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Moon In) announced on the 6th that it will officially operate the QR code electronic entry log (KI-Pass) at the Dong Administrative Welfare Center starting from the 9th.
The electronic entry log involves scanning a QR code containing the personal information of visitors to the Dong Administrative Welfare Center, a measure to enhance personal information security and accurately verify entry records.
Until now, visitors to the Dong Administrative Welfare Center have filled out entry logs manually. As of August, the visitor lists created in the 28 neighborhoods of Buk-gu averaged 93 entries per day and 2,330 entries per month.
Buk-gu plans to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and alleviate residents' concerns about personal information leakage through the introduction of this electronic entry log.
Additionally, for vulnerable groups such as the elderly who have difficulty using smart devices, the existing manual entry log method will be maintained in parallel.
