Seoul Agro-Fisheries & Food Corporation Obtains Safety and Health Management System (ISO 45001) Certification
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seoul Agro-Fisheries & Food Corporation (President Kim Kyungho) obtained the 'Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001) certification' from the Korea Value Management Certification Institute on the 4th, covering all business sites including the Garak Headquarters, Gangseo Branch, and Eco-friendly Distribution Center.
'ISO 45001' is the highest-level international certification on occupational health and safety established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in 2018. It is a system that strictly evaluates all aspects of workplace health and safety to prevent various types of hazards and industrial accidents in advance before awarding certification.
The corporation established manuals, procedures, and guidelines for a system that enables employees to directly participate in risk assessments and internal audits to identify, eliminate, and manage potential hazards in the workplace in advance, thereby establishing an autonomous occupational health and safety management activity system to foster safety and health awareness.
President Kim Kyungho stated, “Based on the established system, we will strive to realize a safe wholesale market free from disasters and safety accidents through continuous preventive activities and active participation of employees.”
