On the morning of the 4th, the Infectious Disease Prevention Team in Gijang-gun, Busan, is disinfecting the area around the apartment where confirmed cases have occurred.

The confirmed case is a university student, Mr. A, residing in Gyeonggi-do, who came home on the 1st and was living there. He underwent testing at the screening clinic of the Dongnam Institute of Radiological & Medical Sciences at 3 PM on the 3rd due to COVID-19 symptoms.
Mr. A tested positive at 8:10 AM on the 4th and was subsequently transferred to Busan Medical Center.
The epidemiological investigation team of the Gijang-gun Public Health Center is currently identifying Mr. A’s infection route, movement path, and contacts.

Following the additional confirmed case in Gijang-gun, the infectious disease prevention team urgently dispatched and began disinfection and sterilization from 9 AM at the residence of the confirmed case, nearby areas, elevators, and staircases.
