[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Seven people in Gwangju tested positive for COVID-19, increasing the total number of confirmed cases to 405.
According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 4th, following four confirmed cases in the morning, seven additional cases were confirmed, totaling 11 cases in one day.
Cases 399 and 400 are people in their 60s living in Gakhwa-dong and Munheung-dong, Buk-gu, both confirmed to be related to Jungheung Giwon.
Cases 401 and 402 are a woman in her 50s living in Unam-dong, Buk-gu, and a woman in her 70s living in Wolgye-dong, Gwangsan-gu, both related to the August 15 Seoul downtown rally.
Cases 403 and 404 are a man and a woman in their 60s living in Duam-dong, Buk-gu, known to have been in contact with case 396, who was confirmed positive earlier that morning. Case 396 is a "dark figure" case with an unknown infection route.
Case 405 is a woman in her 20s who entered the country from Qatar as an overseas entrant.
