[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] One additional asymptomatic confirmed case has occurred in Gwangju, increasing the total confirmed cases to 389.
According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 2nd, a woman in her 50s residing in Jinwol-dong, Nam-gu, was confirmed positive and classified as case number 389.
The route of infection is currently unknown.
Among the 389 confirmed cases in the Gwangju area, 249 have fully recovered and been released from quarantine, while 138 are currently receiving treatment. There have been 2 deaths.
334 cases are from local transmission, and 54 are imported cases.
