On the same day, Ha said in a post on his Facebook, "President Moon's sowing discord among the people is excessive," expressing this view.
He pointed out, "President Moon is encouraging fights between doctors and nurses," adding, "It is already difficult enough for the people to unite and fight COVID-19, but President Moon, who promotes division among the people, is causing despair among the citizens."
He continued, "Doctors and nurses are one team. Hospitals would have to close if only nurses were present. Likewise, hospitals cannot exist with only doctors without nurses. Yet, during the COVID-19 emergency, the president posted content that sows discord and incites fights between doctors and nurses," emphasizing, "No matter how much doctors are on strike, such actions should never be taken by a president. Many citizens who saw President Moon's post were so shocked they could hardly believe their eyes."
This appears to be aimed at President Moon’s earlier Facebook post where he said, "I comfort the nurses who are silently guarding the medical sites abandoned by doctors such as residents, and express my deep gratitude and respect for their dedication and hard work."
In that post, President Moon addressed the nurses, saying, "It must be difficult and challenging as you fight long battles against COVID-19 and also bear the burden of doctors who have been on strike for a long time," and added, "During the recent heatwave, the heartbreaking news that medical staff at outdoor screening clinics could not take off their protective suits and were collapsing touched the hearts of the people. Although they were referred to as medical staff, the public knows well that most of them were nurses."
Regarding this, Ha said, "What the president should do now is to order the Democratic Party to strictly enforce the re-discussion of the medical school expansion promised by them and immediately bring the doctors back to hospitals," and strongly criticized, "Instead of presenting solutions, he is inciting the hardworking nurses and creating a confrontational situation with doctors. I want to ask if he has given up on being president."
Finally, he urged President Moon, "Please do not only look at your supporters but look at the entire nation," emphasizing, "Do not become a third-rate president who only sees supporters and stirs up conflicts among the people, but become a first-rate president who unites the people and saves the country from COVID-19."
