Naver Hosts AI Medical Learning Model Development Datathon
Development of Learning Algorithms for Sinusitis X-ray Images, etc.
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] Naver Business Platform (NBP) announced on the 2nd that it will hold the "Online Artificial Intelligence (AI) Datathon" (KHD 2020) for five days starting from the 21st.
KHD 2020 is part of the Ministry of Science and ICT's "2020 AI Training Data Construction" project. Following the successful conclusion of the "Konyang Health Datathon 2019" hosted by Konyang University Hospital last year, this is the second domestic competition utilizing medical imaging data.
The training medical imaging data constructed through this event, such as X-ray images related to sinusitis and digital pathology images related to breast cancer, will be used to plan and develop AI training models.
Participants in the competition will choose one of two fields: developing AI training algorithms for sinusitis X-ray images or for breast pathology images. All necessary computing power will be operated on NBP's high-performance cloud infrastructure, and medical data analysis will be conducted based on Naver's cloud machine learning development platform, "NSML."
