Starbucks Mobile Voucher Giveaway for 100 People Until the 11th...Subscribe, Like, and Comment on My Own Home Life...October 5th Dongdaemun-gu Pure Original Video Contest Featuring Local Attractions, Festivals, Activities, and Sights
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Jung Eun-kyung, head of the Central Disease Control Headquarters, recently emphasized that “the way to show solidarity in the COVID-19 era is for everyone to disperse,” and as the entire nation participates in refraining from gatherings and practicing social distancing, they are joining in “strong solidarity and cooperation.”
Meanwhile, a district in Seoul is attracting attention by holding a ‘YouTube Event and Creator Contest’ to increase interest in district administration and create opportunities for communication.
Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Yoo Deok-yeol) is holding a YouTube event and creator contest in response to the contactless era caused by COVID-19.
The Dongdaemun-gu Office YouTube event allows participation by watching the video “Let’s Dance Together (Wise Home Life)” on the DBS Dongdaemun-gu Office Internet Broadcasting Channel, subscribing to the channel, liking the video, and leaving a comment about one’s own home life.
The video “Let’s Dance Together (Wise Home Life)” was produced so that people can enjoy a fun time by following dance moves at home.
Anyone can participate from the 1st to the 11th, and among the participants, 100 people will be randomly selected to receive Starbucks mobile gift certificates.
In particular, to maximize the promotional effect using video content, the district is conducting a YouTube creator contest under the theme “Dongdaemun-gu I Want to Introduce.”
Submissions should be original videos under 3 minutes featuring Dongdaemun-gu’s attractions, festivals, activities, and sights. The contest period runs until October 5, and anyone nationwide can participate individually or as a team.
The district will evaluate the works based on usability, relevance, popularity, creativity, and completeness, awarding ▲Grand Prize 1 person (1,000,000 KRW) ▲Excellence Award 1 person (600,000 KRW) ▲Merit Award 1 person (300,000 KRW) ▲Encouragement Award 3 people (200,000 KRW each).
Those wishing to apply can submit the application form, consent form for personal information collection and use, and other required documents along with the video file either by visiting in person or by email to the person in charge (futuredot@ddm.go.kr, cowboy29@ddm.go.kr) via the ‘Citizen Participation → Online Submission’ section on the Dongdaemun-gu Office website.
