View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Professor Seomin from Dankook University College of Medicine criticized the people who blindly support President Moon Jae-in on the 31st, saying, "Moon fans say, 'Our Eni, do whatever you want,' but this is the reason why our country is heading in the wrong direction."
Professor Seo appeared on MBC Radio's 'Kim Jong-bae's Focus' that day and said, "If fans support President Moon no matter what he does, he might be under the illusion that 'I can do things carelessly.'"
He pointed out, "Fans can abandon the person they liked if that person suddenly changes, and they should do so. The fandom identifies themselves with President Moon by thinking, 'Because I like him, President Moon is a righteous person,' and 'Because President Moon is a good person, I am also a good person.' Therefore, when someone attacks President Moon, they interpret it as an attack on themselves and get angry."
He added, "I saw some fans who are okay with saying things to their own father or mother, but if someone insults President Moon, they would flip the table and leave. This is regrettable," he said.
Professor Seo also criticized the slogan "Protect Cho Kuk" that appeared alongside calls for prosecutorial reform during last year's candlelight protest in Seocho-dong, Seoul, saying, "It is understandable to demand prosecutorial reform, but the slogans that appeared more frequently at that protest were 'Protect Cho Kuk' and 'We love Jung Kyung-shim.' In fact, Jung Kyung-shim might be the person who brought former Minister Cho Kuk to ruin, so defending even such a person means that the protest was wrong."
He recently authored the so-called "Cho Kuk Black Book," which criticizes the 586 generation within the ruling party. Professor Seo said, "Those who were in power during the Roh Moo-hyun administration are called the 386 generation, and along with the Moon Jae-in administration, they ruled under the name 586. Although they sacrificed in their youth, they have repeatedly fallen into corruption since then, owning apartments in Gangnam but still thinking of themselves as victims who have worked for justice."

Regarding the controversy over the 300 million won donation for the 'Cho Kuk White Paper,' Professor Seo said, "The cost of making the book would be sufficient with 40 million won even if it was fully colored. I am really curious about how this money was used and hope it will be clarified."
