Gwangju Yangdong Market District 1 Housing Association Promotion Committee Donates Rice to Overcome Flood Damage
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Yangdong Market 1 District Regional Housing Association Promotion Committee in Gwangju Metropolitan City donated 200 bags of rice (10kg each) to support flood recovery efforts in Seo-gu, Gwangju.
It is known that Park Eunyoung, Chairperson of the Yangdong Market 1 District Regional Housing Association Promotion Committee, made the donation to help residents who are struggling due to flood damage.
The donated rice will be evenly distributed to neighborhood community centers, including Seochang-dong and Yudeok-dong, which were the most affected by the recent flood.
Additionally, the rice will be delivered to vulnerable groups and elderly people living alone in time for the upcoming Chuseok holiday.
