LG Electronics Strengthens Customer Communication with Corporate Media Platform 'Live LG'
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] LG Electronics announced on the 30th that it will launch a new corporate media platform called 'LiVE LG' to strengthen communication with customers.
LiVE LG carries meanings such as life, being alive, and real-time service. LG Electronics explained that the lowercase "i" represents "me," who lives a better life together with the LG brand.
LG Electronics plans to gather and provide LG Electronics content on LiVE LG, which opens on the 31st. It includes a newsroom that provides official press releases, as well as card news, videos, infographics, and other content previously published separately on blogs and Facebook.
The content covers advanced technology and the latest product news in the home appliances and IT fields, corporate social responsibility, and new lifestyles.
In particular, the "Just Click" corner, where LG Electronics employees who are YouTubers explore various parts of the company, will continuously upload employee vlogs (daily videos) and interviews with executives and staff.
LG Electronics paid attention to the fact that 70% of visitors to the corporate blog access it via smartphones, so the LiVE LG platform was designed to be optimized for mobile devices.
From the 31st to the 13th of next month, LG Electronics will hold an event to celebrate the opening of 'LiVE LG' on LG Electronics' Facebook and YouTube channels. Among participating customers, 200 will be selected by lottery to receive Newtro goods such as Goldstar eco bags and glass cups.
An LG Electronics official said, "We will continue to strengthen communication so that customers can access LG Electronics' content more conveniently and enjoyably."
