'Hangout with Yoo' Yoo Jae-suk, Jung Jae-hyung Manager Interview "No License... Moved by Taxi with Hwasa"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Hyesoo] On the afternoon of the 29th, the MBC show 'How Do You Play?' aired a scene where Jimmy Yu and Jung Jae-hyung were having an interview.
That day, Jimmy Yu (Yoo Jae-suk's alter ego) met Jung Jae-hyung to recruit a manager for the Refund Expedition. After seeing Jung Jae-hyung's resume, Jimmy Yu said, "It says you play the keyboard a bit," and took out a melodica. Seeing the melodica, Jung Jae-hyung said, "I'm someone who performs at the Seoul Arts Center and such. I play the grand piano."
Ignoring Jung Jae-hyung's words, Jimmy Yu said, "I'm trying to see if applicants can do anything with this. Shouldn't you show this without regrets?" and handed over the melodica.
Then Jung Jae-hyung handed the hose to Jimmy Yu, saying, "I have to sing a bit." Caught off guard, Jimmy Yu put the hose in his mouth, and Jung Jae-hyung passionately played the melodica as if playing a grand piano.
The more intensely Jung Jae-hyung played, the more out of breath Jimmy Yu became, and seeing this, Jung Jae-hyung was surprised, saying, "Your lips are a bit swollen." Jimmy Yu requested, "Isn't there also 'Sunjung Macho'?" and Jung Jae-hyung immediately started playing 'Sunjung Macho.'
Since the intro was too long and Jung Jae-hyung did not sing, Jimmy Yu struggled, saying, "When are you going to sing!!" but he showed fighting spirit by continuing to blow the hose until the end.
Jung Jae-hyung kept saying, "Doing this makes me think of old times after a long time." Jimmy Yu pushed, "Don't you have something you composed yourself?" and Jung Jae-hyung continued playing and singing.
Jimmy Yu said, "I don't think your singing skills are outstanding, but it seems like you enjoy it." Jung Jae-hyung laughed with his characteristic nasal voice.
Jimmy Yu said that if hired, Jung Jae-hyung would become the road manager. Then Jung Jae-hyung said, "I can't drive. I don't have a license. So I can't do pickups either."
Jimmy Yu was baffled and said, "What if the manager doesn't have a license? To pick up by car and move to the next location, a license is essential." Jung Jae-hyung replied, "Then should I get a license?" but also said, "There’s ballet and the CEO (=Jimmy Yu), so do I really have to get one?" which made everyone laugh.
Especially, in the case of a 5-seater car, he gave a brilliant answer that Yoo Jae-suk would drive, Um Jung-hwa, Lee Hyori, and Jessi would move together, and he himself would move with Hwasa by taxi.
Jimmy Yu ended the interview saying, "Let's stop now," after only discussing whether to get a license or not. Then Jung Jae-hyung clung on, asking, "Did I make any mistakes in the interview? When will I know the results? Is there another interview? What did I do wrong? What answer did you want?" which embarrassed Jimmy Yu.
