Daegu Police Agency Conducts 'Search and Seizure' at Pastor's Church Leading Gwanghwamun Rally... Secures Related Evidence
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] The police conducted a search and seizure at the church of a pastor who led participants from Daegu to the Gwanghwamun rally in Seoul but did not cooperate with the quarantine investigation.
According to the Daegu Metropolitan Police Agency on the 27th, the Intelligent Crime Investigation Unit sent about 10 investigators to a church in Dong-gu, Daegu, from 4 p.m. for about two hours to conduct a search and seizure and secured related evidence.
The pastor of this church was one of the 42 charter bus leaders for the Gwanghwamun rally on the 15th. Despite mobilizing church members, he refused to comply with Daegu City's epidemiological investigation request and was reported to Daegu City on the 24th for violating the Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Act.

A police official said, "The search and seizure was conducted due to the violation of Daegu City's administrative order," and added, "We plan to summon the pastor for questioning soon."
