Gaepo-dong Resident Confirmed COVID-19 Positive After Visiting 'Icehouse Ice Rink' in Suwon

Including two additional cases reported the previous afternoon, the total number of confirmed cases in Gangnam-gu has risen to 161.
A resident living in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, showed symptoms such as coughing, and a resident living in Gaepo-dong, who visited the ‘Ice House Ice Rink’ in Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 22nd, visited the Gangnam-gu Public Health Center and underwent specimen testing, resulting in a positive diagnosis that morning.
Another resident living in Yeoksam-dong, who had symptoms of fever and headache since the 18th, was tested at Gangnam Severance Hospital and received a positive diagnosis that day.
A resident living in Apgujeong-dong, who had symptoms of coughing and sore throat since the day before yesterday, was tested at Gangnam Severance Hospital and received a positive diagnosis the previous afternoon. Another resident of Apgujeong-dong was tested at Gangdong-gu Public Health Center and was confirmed positive the previous day, then transferred to Gangnam-gu Public Health Center.
In addition, Gangnam-gu confirmed that a confirmed case from another region visited the Sinsa-dong Community Center, which was immediately disinfected and closed. The Sinsa-dong Community Center was closed for the day and is scheduled to resume normal operations from tomorrow.
