Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation Donates 50 Million Won for COVID-19 and Flood Relief Fund
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) has donated 50 million won to support vulnerable groups.
GH recently announced on the 26th that it donated 50 million won to the Gyeonggi Social Welfare Community Chest, recognizing that many residents are facing difficulties due to COVID-19 and record-breaking heavy rains.
This donation will be used to support vulnerable groups in flood-affected areas within the province, including Icheon, Anseong, and Yeoju, where agricultural product sales have been blocked due to the uncertain school reopening caused by the resurgence of COVID-19.
A GH official stated, "We made this donation hoping it would provide some help to residents going through difficult times due to COVID-19 and flood damage."
In March, GH also received favorable reviews for promoting a twofold social contribution to help farmers and vulnerable groups struggling with COVID-19.
