Among them, 2 cases are community infections including participants of the Gwanghwamun rally, and 1 case is an imported case. With this, the number of confirmed cases in Daegu related to the Gwanghwamun rally has been counted as 4.
According to Daegu City on the 26th, a woman in her 60s residing in Jung-gu who attended the Gwanghwamun rally was confirmed positive the day before. Also, a woman in her 50s residing in Buk-gu who met a confirmed relative in Songpa-gu, Seoul from the 14th to the 18th tested positive. A foreigner in his 30s residing in Buk-gu who entered from Ethiopia on the 12th was confirmed positive after a 2-week facility quarantine and subsequent testing.
Accordingly, as of 0:00 on the 26th, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Daegu increased to 6,986 (6,919 community infections, 67 imported cases).
With one participant of the Gwanghwamun rally testing positive on this day, the number of confirmed cases related to the Gwanghwamun rally increased to 4. According to Daegu City's data, 1,667 participants from Daegu attended the Gwanghwamun rally, divided into 57 buses, and among them, 1,139 people had been tested by the 25th.

A Daegu city official stated, "If diagnostic testing is not performed by today (the 26th), legal measures will be taken according to the 'Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Act,' and all costs arising from violation of the order will be claimed as damages."
