Shinhan Financial Group announced on the 25th that "the Shinhan Donghae Open will be held from the 10th of next month at Bears Best Cheongna Golf Club in Incheon." Since 2016, the event has been jointly organized by three tours: the Asian Professional Golfers Association (APGA) Tour, and last year also included the Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO). The reason given is that "due to COVID-19 quarantine guidelines, it is difficult for foreign players to enter the country." The winner will receive a 5-year Korean Tour exemption and a spot in the APGA Tour 2021 season.
