Jinju Mayor Sends Letter Encouraging Participation in Social Distancing Level 2
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Jo Gyu-il, mayor of Jinju City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 25th that he delivered a letter appealing for active participation along with the 'Order to Prohibit and Restrict Gatherings at Multi-use Facilities' to representatives of multi-use facilities in relation to the implementation of social distancing level 2.
In the letter, Mayor Jo said, "As we are on the verge of a nationwide outbreak of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), we cannot help but prioritize the health and safety of our citizens," and asked for cooperation.
He added, "We will do our best to overcome the COVID-19 level 2 situation well so that we can create a better local community in the future."
