According to Samsung Electronics on the 25th, a wireless business division employee working in the R3 research building at the Suwon plant tested positive for COVID-19 on that day. It is known that this employee underwent a COVID-19 test at an external clinic the previous day.
The R3 building was completely closed on the same day, and emergency disinfection will be carried out. The building is scheduled to reopen normally tomorrow, and the floor where the confirmed case worked will be closed for three days.
Employees who worked with the confirmed case will also undergo COVID-19 testing. If they are identified as close contacts, they will be placed under self-quarantine.
