Deepnoid Signs Joint Business Agreement with Medical Big Data Analytics Company 'Procuratio'
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Deepnoid, a medical artificial intelligence (AI) platform specialist company, announced on the 25th that it has signed a joint business agreement with Procureatio, a medical big data analysis specialist company, to develop an AI medical data analysis solution.
The two companies will jointly develop an AI solution based on e-CRF using Deepnoid's medical AI research platform ‘DEEP:PHI (Deep:PHI)’. They plan to develop solution products that evaluate accurate diagnosis and treatment through analysis of various clinical data and predict disease progression and prognosis.
Initially, the analysis of medical imaging data and clinical data of lung cancer patients will be conducted through DEEP:PHI. Afterwards, the plan is to expand it into an AI medical data analysis solution applicable to data from various diseases.
Currently, AI in the medical field is largely focused on the analysis of imaging data such as X-rays, CT, MRI in radiology, or pathology and fundus images, but there is a growing opinion that future medical AI research should expand through the clinical data field.
Woosik Choi, CEO of Deepnoid, said, “Through this collaboration, we aim to expand the scope of Deepnoid’s medical AI platform to various clinical data,” adding, “We hope that the scope of DEEP:PHI will expand to various clinical data, creating an ecosystem where researchers can more easily conduct AI research.”
Changmin Choi, CEO of Procureatio, stated, “By combining the know-how accumulated through various multi-center disease cohort studies such as lung cancer and dementia with Deepnoid’s imaging platform, we aim to build a clinical data platform that enables many researchers to more easily access AI research.”
