[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] On Monday the 24th, a nationwide heatwave is forecast. From the afternoon, some areas in eastern Gyeonggi, western Gangwon, and northern Chungbuk are expected to experience showers.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 23rd, heatwave warnings have been issued for most regions nationwide except for northern Gyeonggi and some parts of southern Gangwon.

Also, showers caused by atmospheric instability are expected in some places in the afternoon. The expected precipitation is 5 to 40 mm in eastern Gyeonggi, western Gangwon, and northern Chungbuk.

In particular, due to the influence of Typhoon No. 8 "Bavi," strong winds are expected from the southern sea near Jeju Island on the morning of the 24th. From the afternoon, strong winds are also forecast in the sea near Jeju Island and the southern sea. The expected precipitation in Jeju from noon to midnight is around 10 to 40 mm.

The morning low temperature on the 24th is expected to be 20 to 25 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature is expected to be 29 to 34 degrees Celsius.
