Professor Omancheol of Sejong University Graduate School of Convergence Arts Holds Special Exhibition of Ceramic Paintings
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Sejong University announced on the 23rd that Professor Oh Man-cheol of the Porcelain Department at the Graduate School of Convergence Arts held a special ceramic painting exhibition at the KEPCO Art Center in Seoul until the 15th. The exhibition showcased 24 ceramic pieces personally crafted by Professor Oh. The exhibition consisted of moon jars from the Ruminating series fired at 1330 degrees Celsius and the Saegyejeol's Sehan Samu works representing the four seasons. Under the theme 'Enjoying Pine Trees and Moon Jars Shaped by Clay, Fire, and Spirit,' the exhibition expressed the characteristics of pine trees, symbols of integrity and loyalty, and moon jars representing the lives of Joseon potters through ceramic painting.
